Dubai, March 31 (WAM) — The Ataa Hamdan Volunteer Team, in cooperation with the Dubai Civil Defense General Directorate, organized a community initiative titled “You Are Safety, and We Are Gratitude,” in a humanitarian gesture reflecting values of loyalty and appreciation for civil defense personnel and their leading role in protecting lives and property.
The initiative aims to honor civil defense personnel in recognition of their significant efforts and dedication to their humanitarian and national duty. They represent an exemplary model of sacrifice and giving, standing on the front lines to confront various risks and challenges while prioritizing the safety of the community.
A number of civil defense personnel were honored, and speeches of appreciation and gratitude were delivered in recognition of their heroic role. The event also included activities that reflected community cohesion and strengthened values of national belonging.
Ahmed Bin Ajlan, Chairman of the Ataa Hamdan Volunteer Team, affirmed that this initiative stems from the team’s deep belief in the importance of supporting and honoring entities that safeguard community security and safety. He noted that civil defense personnel represent the first line of defense in responding to accidents and emergencies.
